Returns & Exchanges: Due to the handmade and hygienic nature of our products, we do not accept returns or exchanges. But if there's an issue with your order, please contact us at info@themoonlightdreads.com — we’re always here to help 💛 Cancellations: - You can cancel your order within 12 hours of purchase. After that, your set may already be in production, and we can’t guarantee cancellation. - After 12 hours, if your order hasn’t been started yet, a full cancellation may be possible. If production has already begun, the terms are negotiable and may include a partial refund depending on the work completed. Please reach out as soon as possible if you change your mind - we’ll always do our best to find a fair solution.

Custom Orders & Reservations:
- For custom-made sets, a deposit is required before production begins: usually the full amount, but sometimes a partial payment may apply, with the remaining balance due once the set is ready.
- In case of cancellation: if the work has not started yet, the deposit can be refunded upon cancellation. Once production is in progress, the deposit becomes either non-refundable or partially refundable, depending on the work completed and the deposit amount.
- For ready-to-ship sets, if you’d like to reserve a specific set, a non-refundable reservation deposit may be required. This deposit holds the item for you until full payment is made, but if you later decide not to proceed, the reservation fee will not be refunded.

The number of dreadlocks depends on several factors, including their thickness, your hair type (density, thickness), and whether you have shaved zones. Before ordering, feel free to consult with me. Here are some common tips that will help you! 🌛 For a full head: 50–55 Double Ended Dreads or Push-up curls, or 55–60 items for braids/regular dreaded curls 🌛 For extra volume: Add 5–10 pieces 🌛 Leaving bangs out: 40–45 Double Ended Dreads 🌛 Undercut zone: 25–35–45 Double Ended Dreads (depending on shaved area) 🌛 Back of the head (partial install): 8–20 Double Ended Dreads

Of course, standard dreaded curls look more natural. But what’s the advantage of push-up curls? They are very soft and cause no discomfort, which is ideal for people with sensitive scalps. Super volume! For good scalp coverage, 50 DE are more than enough (you can’t achieve the same effect with regular curls even with 60 DE), which means the full set has less weight. This is perfect for those with fine and thin hair.

Safe dreadlocks are made from kanekalon (high-quality synthetic fiber), which externally imitates dreadlocks made of natural hair. They can be of any length and thickness. They come in two types: Double Ended (DE) and Single Ended (SE). DE dreadlocks give double volume, while SE dreadlocks preserve the hair’s natural volume.

DE and SE dreads can be worn for 1.5–2 months, depending on your hair growth speed. They can be unbraided painlessly and reused for future installations.

Detailed care instructions will be sent after your order based on your set type. 🔹 Wash your scalp (not the dreads) every 7–10 days using diluted shampoo foam 🔹 Create foam using a foam maker, spray bottle, or sponge 🔹 Don’t sleep with wet hair 🔹 Air-dry naturally; use cold air only if necessary 🔹 When wearing high ponytails, make sure there’s no excessive tension. If you feel discomfort — loosen it!
